Painaimana - Travel & Event: Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes how the Painaimana - Travel & Event iOS app (“the app”), published by RUEDEE RETAIL COMPANY LIMITED, handles your information.
Summary — the app does not collect any data. We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sell, or share any personal information or usage data. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Your data stays on your device
Everything you enter in the app — events and trips, dates, countries, numbers of days, amounts and flight costs, titles and remarks, categories, statuses, tags, and settings such as your currency, home country and daily plan — is stored only in the app’s local database on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Photos and videos
You can attach photos and videos to an event. When you do, you pick them yourself through the standard iOS photo picker, and copies are saved inside the app’s own storage on your device, in a folder named after the event’s date. The app does not read your photo library on its own, and attachments are never uploaded.
Location
The app does not use location services and never asks for your location. The country shown on an event is the one you chose yourself, and the world map places its pins from a built-in list of country coordinates.
Maps
The world map is drawn with Apple Maps (MapKit), part of iOS. When you open the Map tab, iOS requests map imagery from Apple in order to draw it. That request is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy; your travel log, notes and amounts are not part of it and are never sent anywhere.
Files you export
The app can export your log as a CSV file, an event’s details as a .txt file, and an event’s attachments as a .zip file, at your request. These files are created on your device and saved to the location you choose. You are in full control of any file you export and where you share it. Importing a CSV file reads only the file you select.
Data deletion
Because all data is stored locally, deleting the app from your device permanently deletes all of its data, including attached photos and videos. No copy exists anywhere else. Export a CSV backup first if you want to keep your log.
Children’s privacy
The app is suitable for all ages and, as stated above, collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the App Store privacy label before the change takes effect.
