Fur Fiber

Other types of animal hair are called Fur, including rabbit fur, Angora fur (Mask Rat)
mink fur, and Hare fur (an animal similar to a rabbit)

This special animal fur is generally divided into 2 parts. The outer layer of fur, located around the outside of the body, is coarse, stiff, fairly hard, and white. This part is not used to make clothing or garments; it is commonly woven into coarse fabric, used to make furniture and woven carpets. The inner layer of fur, located around the inner area next to the animal's skin, is covered by the shorter outer fur, and is soft and fine in texture, of better quality than the outer layer, used to make clothing, garments, and fine-quality fabric.
