Saran Fiber (Saran)

A fiber composed of polymers of Vinylidene Chloride (1,1-dichloroethene), with low moisture absorption, not resistant to high heat, and good resistance to chemicals, acids, alkalis, and organic solvents used for removing stains. It is easy to wash clean, and is commonly used to make upholstery, curtains, and carpets.
